Lindsey was born and raised in Muscatine. Following college, Lindsey and her husband returned to Muscatine to start a family and are proud to raise our son here. Muscatine has always offered opportunities for us to enjoy, provide opportunities to advance professionally, and be surrounded by family! Lindsey joined YPN in November of 2013 and immediately joined the Community & Professional Development Committee. In 2014, I became Chair of the committee. Being part of YPN’s leadership group has given me a grander appreciation for the organization and the community involvement.
Lindsey attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelors of Social Work. She is the Program Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, a program of the Muscatine YMCA, which has given her the ability to participate in YPN and excellent networking opportunities. With a background in social work and familiarity with non-profits, Lindsey enjoys sharing the volunteer opportunities that are available with other Young Professionals and planning community development events.
For fun, Lindsey and her husband participate in a lot of toddler themed activities! They are avid Hawkeye fans.
